Will Gamester

Hello! I’m a philosopher working in the UK. I’ve been a Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds for the last couple of years, where I was previously a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow and before that a PhD student.

I work on the philosophy of language, metaphysics, and metaethics, with a particular interest in truth and metasemantics. I also dabble in the philosophy of mind and logic. I’m currently working on expressivist theories of meaning, pluralist theories of truth, and nihilist responses to paradox. Check out the Research and Drafts pages.

Outside of philosophy, I’m into weird fiction, weird music, and weird beer. I’ve just become a dad, which I understand can be time consuming.
